Si segnala quanto comunicato dall’Unità Difesa Commerciale del Ministero Affari Esteri (DGUE – Uff. X) in relazione ai seguenti procedimenti attivati da Paesi terzi nei confronti dell’Unione Europea o di singoli Stati membri, invitando le Associazioni a veicolare le informazioni alle aziende potenzialmente interessate:
USA – nell’ambito della revisione antidumping relativa a tubi meccanici trafilati a freddo di acciaio legato e al carbonio (rif. news del 24.03.2023), l’US International Trade Commission (ITC), sulla base dei contributi ricevuti dalle parti interessate, ha optato per la conduzione di una full review nei confronti dell’Italia e di tutti gli altri Paesi coinvolti (Germania, Cina, India, Corea e Svizzera). La conclusione del procedimento è prevista entro 360 giorni dal suo avvio (indicativamente entro fine dicembre 2023). In allegato la documentazione di riferimento.

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) determined to proceed with a full review of the antidumping duty orders on cold-drawn mechanical tubing of carbon and alloy steel (CDMT) from Germany and Italy (see attached Federal Register notice). The domestic and respondent interested party group responses from Italy were adequate and thus warranted a full review, while the responses from Germany (and other countries) were considered inadequate. Nevertheless, ITC opted for a full review for all the countries named in the case to promote administrative efficiency due to the determination with respect to Italy. Full reviews should normally be completed within 360 days of initiation. As the initiation date for this review was January 3, 2023, that means the full review should be finished by December 29, 2023. The exact schedule will be released at a later date. |
