Si segnala quanto comunicato dall’Unità Difesa Commerciale del Ministero Affari Esteri (DGUE – Uff. X) in relazione ai seguenti procedimenti attivati da paesi terzi nei confronti dell’Unione Europea o di singoli Stati membri, invitando le Associazioni a veicolare le informazioni alle aziende interessate:
1) USA – avviati i seguenti riesami antidumping (sunset review): Italia - Tubi meccanici trafilati a freddo (1a revisione); Germania - Tubi meccanici trafilati a freddo (1a revisione); Tubi a pressione senza saldatura (5a revisione). The US Commerce Department (DOC) and International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated five-year reviews to determine if revocation of the following antidumping or countervailing duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time: DOC Case No. ITC Case No. Country Product A-475-838 731-TA-1365 Italy Cold-Drawn Mechanical Tubing (1st Review) A-428-845 731-TA-1363 Germany Cold-Drawn Mechanical Tubing (1st Review) A-428-820 731-TA-709 Germany Seamless Line and Pressure Pipe (5th Review) Commerce will automatically revoke the order without further review if it does not receive a notice of intent to participate from at least one domestic interested party within 15 days (by January 18, 2023). However, provided that Commerce does receive such notice from a domestic interested party, then all parties wishing to participate must file complete substantive responses no later than 30 days after the publication date for this notice of initiation (by February 2, 2023). Parties wishing to participate in the ITC proceeding must file an entry of appearance no later than 21 days after the publication date for this notice (by January 24, 2023). Responses to the ITC’s notice of institution must be filed by February 2, 2023. An interested party may also file comments concerning the adequacy of responses to the notice of institution and whether the ITC should conduct expedited or full reviews by March 16, 2023. |

2) USA – chiusura indagine antidumping senza l’imposizione di misure sulle importazioni di gomma stirene-butadiene del tipo emulsione (ESBR) dalla Repubblica ceca. Le autorità statunitensi hanno riscontrato che l’import in questione non arreca pregiudizio all’industria domestica e pertanto non verranno applicati dazi. In allegato il rapporto completo con le valutazioni dell’ITC. L’indagine ha riguardato anche l’Italia, tuttavia, a maggio scorso, le autorità statunitensi ne hanno deciso la chiusura, a seguito del ritiro dell’istanza da parte dell’industria domestica nei confronti delle aziende italiane che esportano negli USA.
